Duties & Responsibilities:
>> Accountable to the board of directors and responsible for strategic planning of the plant to ensure that the management target is achieved.
>> To plan, organize and direct oversee all daily operations of the plant from production
and manufacturing to ensure policies, procedures are followed.
>> To develop and enhance the processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity.
>> To increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary
cost and wastage.
>> Focus on operating the plant efficiently, be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping.
>> Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
>> Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
>> Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff
>> Commit to plant safety & health (DOSH) procedures
>> Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
>> Liaise with government authorities such as JKKP, DOSH, DOE
>> Any responsible duties assigned from time to time by the Board.
Job Requirements:
>> Proven work experience as Plant Manager and managerial experience
>> Be Knowledgeable of business & management principles, industry & technical expertise, safety & health (DOSH), quality, productivity, inventory & stewardship processes.
>> Computer literacy
>> Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
>> Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
>> Candidate must possess at least a Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate
Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, in any field.
>> Required language(s): Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, English.
>> At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
>> Applicants must be willing to work in KOTA TINGGI.
>> Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or
equivalent. Or candidate with experience in heavy clay industry is preferred.
