Senior Costing Analyst

Job Description

  1. Review and ensure revenue and cost are recognized in accordance with accounting standards.
  2. Responsible for monthly/quarterly/year end closing activities.
  3. Provide analysis of Manufacturing Costs, Overheads, Absorption and Manufacturing Variances.
  4. Ensure that BOM and Routing set-up are always up-to-date.
  5. Provide analysis on changes in Inventory and provide drivers. Regularly work with the business to identify inventories at risk.
  6. Provide audit schedules and assist in internal and external audit requests.
  7. Drive scenario based analysis on new/existing product costing
  8. Provides guidance on investment and project decision
  9. Involve in CAPEX discussion
  10. Work closely with operation departments on material and manufacturing cost development.
  11. Involvement and participation in cost-saving and process efficiency activities/initiatives
  12. Analyzing profitability and cost-effectiveness of operations
  13. Liaise with External auditor on costing related matter – production/internal orders, product profitability, stock take.
  14. Invoice in PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action) projects.
  15. Support tax department on operations related matter especially on new regulation on sales service tax
  16. Prepare product cost statement for custom.
  17. Involve in Year-end stock take process and annual

Requirement

  1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in
  2. Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  3. Required language(s): English
  4. At least 8 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  5. Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, SAP
  6. Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
  7. Thorough knowledge in product costing, variance analysis and budgeting/forecasting.
  8. Thorough understanding of a production driven environment
  9. Deep understanding of relationship between different Financial KPIs
  10. Good communication skills
  11. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team
  12. Detailed-oriented
  13. Ability to present essentials concisely even for complicated topics
  14. Good presentation skills
  15. Good Excel and Powerpoint skills
  16. Ability to comply with deadlines & to work under pressure
  17. Flexibility, ability to handle stress and high-grade emphasis on finding solutions and producing results
